Dynamic Team Contests with Complementary Efforts

In this paper, we study dynamic team contests. the framework of a Tullock contest between two teams generating impacts according to Cobb-Douglas effort aggregation function, examine how equilibrium efforts and winning probabilities depend on timing actions. We show that in contrast synchronous contests, asynchronous contests with publicly observable actions do not result same outcome as one-stage contest; they are strategically unbalancing, leading more lopsided The results have implications about design complementary efforts.
